Wiki Page Project

There are five wiki pages listed as links from our wiki homepage http://nmsumath210m20.pbwiki.com/.  Pick at least one of the wiki pages for which you will research ways in which mathematics shows up or is incorporated in your chosen topic.  For example, if your topic is photography you can talk about apertures, lens speed, distances from the lens to an object in order for it to be in focus on a particular lens, how number of pixels relates to clarity of the image, and so on.  You won't be able to find this out from simply looking at your point-and-shoot, digital camera.  You will need to do some research.

 1. Your first posting should be what aspect of mathematics you are going to research.  You need to decide and post this by midnight on Sunday, April 6.  Ideally only one person per aspect, though there will be overlap and you are allowed to share ideas and collaborate as long as you do so through the wiki page.  If you had trouble posting your topic to the wiki page, and you received help in class April 7, you will receive full credit for posting it by midnight April 7.  Otherwise your posting will be considered late.

You should now have your topic posted!  Get busy on your summaries!

 2. Do your research and post to the wiki page the equivalent of a one to two page, double-spaced summary.  This needs to be posted by midnight April 27.

3.  Comment, edit, or share your thoughts on other people's postings on the wiki page you've chosen AND on one other wiki page by May 2.
